Nonlinear Predictive Control of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine with Extra Current Constraint

The interior permanent magnet synchronous machine (IPMSM) has been widely used in industrial applications due to its several favorable advantages. To further improve the performance, an improved nonlinear predictive controller for IPMSM is proposed. In this paper, maximum torque per ampere control law firstly transformed a linear function, according first−order Taylor expansion, and integrated with strategy. On basis, method formulated by designing optimized cost function through input−output feedback linearization. Then integral action introduced eliminate influence of load mutation steady−state precision system. stability ensured compelling outputs track desired references without error. Finally, simulation was established verify effective method. Simulation results showed that can reach given reference speed error within short process, which means excellent dynamic static performances. Furthermore, higher torque−to−current ratio making full use reluctance torque. effectiveness
